This Monitors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Wonderful classic monitor - adapter needed
I love my 1600SW monitors, and have stocked up on repair parts. To use this on a modern machine you need a GFX1600SW adapter card (DVI to OpenLDI). Then use any standard video card. The older cards (e.g. the #9) are obsolete: too many driver hassles to bother with.
