1. Good picture, not so good sound
Pros
- The picture is great (as expected)
- Many resolutions supported

- Easy setup, drivers installed without a hitch

Cons
- Sound quality and volume is poor with 3.5MM Audio
(Will try audio over HDMI next)

Pros:
Highest resolution available
Sharp, clear image
Great brightness and bright/dark contrast
Built-speakers appear great to me (not an audio expert, but a normal gamer)

When I bought this monitor on HP official site, there was only one review on the HP site and no review on newegg or amazon. The only review back then on the HP site is a 1-star review, complaining about hardware detection problem. This 1-star review really got me nervous. However, I really needed a HD monitor for my recently bought xbox 360 and decided to trust HP (I believed that the 1-star reviewer might've just got a broken one unluckily) and give a shot to this monitor with such good advertised stats.
It turns out that this monitor is great. I received the monitor 2 weeks ago, and waited until now to write a review just because I want to be fair and want to try it for a period of time. Now I want you guys to know...

Shiny, crisp display.
I bought this monitor for my HP envy 14 beats edition about a month ago. With its full hd 1080p and hdmi support it is the perfect match for my silky shiny hp laptop. I have always been sony and apple user. So I was little skeptic about buying hp product but I am happy with my purchase.
I bought this monitor directly from hp website and a hdmi cable ($3.99) from ebay.com.When I first tried to hook monitor with my laptop using this hdmi cable I could not receive any video signal. So i decided to get another hdmi cable ( from walmart $26.99). This one worked perfect. Pretty sure problem was with my previous hdmi cable. Moral of the story stay way from cheap hdmi cables.
Pros:
Full hd, comes with built in speaker, stylish, adjustable screen.
Cons:
I am manufacturing engineer and work with lots of plastic molding. I immediately notice some corner of plastic were not smoothly finished off. You will not be able to tell unless you are really trying...
