This Monitors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Initial Thoughts: Positive but some rough spots...
Quick caveat - I've had this monitor for a couple of weeks, but my new computer to take advantage of the 3D didn't arrive until a couple of days ago. I did use it as a screen for my laptop previously, but have just started to use it more intensively for the purposes it's designed for. So this is a quick and dirty review of the positives and negatives so far, and may change after more use:
Here are the positives:
Great looking - it's not as sleek as the Samsung 3D monitors, but it's clean with a pretty thin bezel.
Solid physical construction - also exceedingly easy to attach to the base.
Physical buttons, not touch sensitive buttons - although for some reason being under the bottom edge feels awkward. Still, they're solid buttons.
Height adjustment (somewhat rare for a monitor this size, I gather) - very easy to raise and lower the monitor.
Matte finish, not glossy.
Comes with Nvidia 3D Vision 2...
2. One of very few PC monitors certified for 3D Vision 2
If you want a 27" LCD monitor that supports 3D Vision 2 with Lightboost technology, you will notice there are precious few models to choose from at this point: in fact, only ONE, the ASUS VG278H. A similar model VG278HE is about $100 cheaper, but without 3D glasses. The glasses cost about $100, so you may as well get the VG278H with the glasses included if you don't already have a pair.
There are two other monitors with 3D Vision 2 and Lightboost support, but they are 24" only, which may be a tad small for many gamers: BenQ XL2420T, which doesn't include 3D glasses, and BenQ XL2420TX, which does.
If you can do without Lightboost, which many gamers believe is essential to have a brighter and more ghosting-free 3D display, then you have to stick to older monitors that only support 3D Vision 1, which has no Lightboost support.
3D Vision requires Windows Vista or 7 (XP not supported) and only works with monitors and Nvidia-brand graphics cards that are...

UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Just got this from Amazon. Fantastic Monitor and 3D setup!!
Hardware:
Easy setup, all relevant cables included except for HDMI. Monitor has height and tilt adjustment with a sturdy stand. Didn't even need to use the monitor setup buttons. Because the screen is large for its resolution, some of you will notice the pixels, but will forget about it as soon as you fire up a supported 3D game. Included instructions for the 3d vision 2 glasses from Nvidia are from the previous generation glasses. It is not a big deal, the power on button on the glasses is by the left eye lens, and make sure you charge it first from the USB cable included - that's all you need to know.
Gaming:
You have to see it to believe it! Colors are bright and vibrant, and the 3D is something that should not be missed - by anyone who likes PC gaming. Make sure you update your Nvidia drivers and use the DVI cable included. You have to set the resolution of each game to the native...
