This Monitors give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Good Monitor
I finally decided to upgrade my clunky 26inch 720p-60hz- LCDTV that I had been also using as my computer monitor; so keep in mind that this review is from someone who was using a pretty low-end monitor.
Having said that, let me start the review:
Appearance/usability wise: the sleek-black 27inch Asus VG27AH is not the thinnest LED-backlit screen I have come across, but compare to an LCD, it is much lighter and thinner in that contrast. Usability-wise, I find that the design is above average: I can easily raise it higher, or lower it, and can even be tilted at far angles. I find it's easy adjustability to be very accommodating for different sitting postures and viewing angles that I might desire.
Turning it on, I was amazed at the colors' vibrancy that a IPS monitor produces. The picture quality is simply amazing. The connectivity works flawlessly. I have it connected via DVI to my computer and HDMI to my Comcast HD-DVR box. (When switching to...
2. Incredible Colors and Excellent 3D
First off let me say I wanted the VG278H, but didn't want to shell out the $600 for it. That is why I ultimately bought this monitor. My last monitor of 5 years was a 22" Sceptre with decent specs in its time. Having said that, I am more than suitably impressed with this upgrade. The colors and resolution in games and movies, both 2D and 3D are simply stunning. I don't really have the words to tell you the difference between the two monitors. This panel blows away anything I've seen up close. Is it worth the money to buy it? Absolutely.
1. The stand is completely awesome. It swivels, tilts and goes up and down with a mere touch on what feels like hydraulics. It is heavy and well balanced made of plastic and metal.
2. The plastic edges of the monitor are not as thin as I would like, but aren't that thick. If you are going to buy a bunch of these to use in a multi-monitor setup you will not like the thickness, otherwise it is just fine.
3. The...

Okay Monitor
This monitor is okay... For a 27 inch IPS monitor and for this price and 3D is included, its a great deal but there was a lot of back light bleeding from the monitor i received. The brightness has to be set to about 30 max for the back light bleeding to go away but even then, some is still visible just on the 4 corners. Particularly in the lower left. It could have something to do with the one monitor i received but I am going to return the monitor and get another one because the 3D is cool but not needed for me.
For games, this back light bleeding is really annoying especially games like Metro where there are a lot of dark scenes. If the brightness is turned up, then there will be a lot of back light bleeding and if the brightness is turned down, then you cant see anything in the game... Everything else looks really good for the monitor but just wasn't expecting this much back light bleeding. Games like Far Cry 3 really look great in this monitor since Far Cry 3 has really...
